I have known Quaid Richburg for many years and he is a good example of the excellent customer service provided by Dodge. He would do anything to help from bringing chemicals from the warehouse, to giving advice or finding expert help from Dodge. Dodge just seems like a big family with our best interest at heart.
Recently I received a call on a Sunday evening notifying me of a bad car accident that took the life of a very close friend of mine and a very loved person in our community, at a very young age. I did the preparation work that evening, but was pretty sure that the restoration would not be possible.
I called him [Shawn] around 8:30AM and asked if he was in my area. Unfortunately, he was headed in the other direction. However, when I described the situation, without a pause, he said let me grab a cup of coffee, my equipment and I’ll be down. He never paused, hesitated or complained about his plans for the day.
Shawn was able to help me give people that I care about deeply a gift that is priceless. For this I will be eternally grateful and will be a loyal Dodge Customer forever!!
As I sit in my office today I am reminded that it has been a month since the tragedy in Newtown, CT claimed the twenty six lives of twenty children and 6 brave adults.
When he [Bill] arrived he asked if I was alone at the funeral home, as our other funeral director had been gone that weekend. He then asked if I wanted help in dressing Ben. I replied that he was small and I would be fine, the Bill said "nobody should have to do that alone, let me help you." What we did that day in our prep-room is sacred, and the care with which it was done was great. Bill surpassed the point that day of just being a company representative. I will not forget what he did for me.
